So this is the oh-so-lovely vintage dress I’ve been harking on about. It’s silk organza and I think the most beautiful dress I’ve ever laid eyes on. It looks like it belongs in a fairy tale! I’m sure this dress would have some great tales to tell. I’ve had to accept that I won’t be able to wear it because it’s just too delicate and already has more than a few holes, not to mention lots of stains that just won’t come out. Still, it looks so pretty hanging on my wall that I don’t really mind at all.
Oh wow, it is absolutely divine! Maybe you can just wear it once and take a lot of pictures…

i do wish modern clothes were still so special and delicate.

Anabela and Adela- I so wish I could wear it.. I did attempt to put it on oh so carefully but I heard a little tear go in the sleeve, squeaked, and quickly took it off again!
Ariella- I got it off eBay :)
Beautiful dress, so romantic! ;-))
very beautifully crafted blog.
Oh my goodness, it's honestly breathtaking! Those little sleeves are just darling, not to mention the delicate flowers trickling down the bottom, like tiny raindrops. I can only imagine that the person who once wore this was beautiful, poetic and dreamlike!
By the way, that sounds like the most wonderful power ever!

It's perfect in every way…you must wear it at least once though!
Did you see the recent post on my blog, where someone is eBaying an Ossie Clark dress AND giving its history? So cool…
Oh my goodness! That is so stunning! I love the embroidery. It definitely looks worthy of hanging on a wall as a piece of art.
