Spring is Here

Happy spring y’all! Apologies for being such a terrible blogger as of late. I’ve been super busy counting shore crabs and measuring starfish on my university field trip (if you’d like to see pictures I can share a few?) and working in general.

The weather is so nice here today! I finally got the chance to wear this skirt from Mother’s Daughter, which I’ve been wanting to share for ages. It’s silk, it’s leopard print, and it’s pleated. Definitely my favourite skirt at the moment.

Oh and I chopped my hair short! I almost forgot to say because it’s been like this for a good few weeks now. What do you think? I’m pretty happy with it.

  8. Great, now I want to cut my hair. My mom is going to kill me after I have given her the whole speech on how I was going to grow my hair out. I’m even giving myself a whiplash with my quick change of thought.

Or in other words . . . Your pictures are stunning and have truly inspired me (like always)!
    Hope you post more!

  11. your hair is adorable! i always loved how long and pretty it was, but this new do is just too cute.

i just purchased a white jumper like the one you’re wearing and seeing something so similar on you makes me glad i bought it!

  12. Very lovely haircut, great great skirt. And that fieldtrip sounds rather… nice actually! Great photos, spring should arrive here soon as well… I need sunshine!

  13. Very cute skirt. :) I tend to do the same thing – cut my long hair, especially when it gets warmer. I’m going to try my best to fight the urge since I always regret it. HOWEVER, yours is very cute. Looks comfortable…. maybe I’ll cut mine…. hahah

  14. Counting shore crabs? Sounds suspiciously like biology to me, which is my neck of the woods – I count flies, which is devastatingly exciting. Where was your field trip? I’d vote yes to seeing some pictures! Your outfit is lovely; I hope this was what your were wearing to poke around in rock pools!

  15. I like your outfit a lot, I was so happy that it was warm today, I was able to wear a skirt too.. Anyway you look great here , I like the glasses and the hair :)

  16. I love your hair shorter! I prefer how shorter hair always looks a bit more sophisticated than girly long hair. And that outfit is precisely what I want to be wearing right now.

  17. Gorgeous… love the first photo especially, I wish it was spring over here… definately my favourite season! *sigh* daffodils x
