Top, shoes, bag and sunglasses – thrifted
Skirt – Topshop
Gold leather bracelet – market stall in Italy

I needed to take a break from revision so I went out this afternoon to take some pictures. I probably should have waited until the evening because mid-afternoon light is hardly flattering, but never mind. I thought this would be a good chance to show you some of my new thrift finds that I came across at the weekend: the sunglasses and the Chanel bag. Nope! It’s not real. I wish. But it’s vintage and made from some lovely soft leather so it’ll do until I can afford the real thing (next lifetime, perhaps). And it was £1!

I’d been having absolutely no luck with thrifting before this weekend, but the car boot on Sunday proved to be quite fruitful. I also went to an antique fair afterwards and managed to find a couple of things. If I get time I might try and take some pictures of it all because it feels like ages since I’ve done a ‘thrifted’ or ‘antique finds’ post.

Some of you may recognise the shoes, which I’ve had for ages but never worn in a post before. Truth be told, I don’t wear heels all that often, but I felt like wearing these today. I probably looked a right picture stumbling around the countryside in them!

Big bunch of stinging nettles to the ankle in 3.. 2.. 1..

Worth it.
