This morning we climbed Arthur’s Seat at 3am to watch the sunrise straight after our graduation ball. Fuelled by the last few drops of alcohol and a whole lot of determination, we made it to the top, minutes before the sun lifted its head over the sea. My time in Edinburgh is nearly up, but I’m so glad I got to spend the last week in the company of such incredible people.
These photos are utterly beautiful! It looks like you had a magical time, you all look very happy.

aaaah-mazing. Haha “fueled by alcohol” I know that very well, but your pictures turn out way better than mine do when I’m in that state!!
Your pictures bring back so many of my own fond memories of hiking up the craigs with wine and friends during my time at The University of Edinburgh. Congratulations on your graduation!
Lovely pictures! I’d love to go on a hike to a place like this.

What a fab thing to do. I would have been the one left behind, half way up on account of passing out.
This is awesome. When I studied abroad in Edinburgh, I lived in those dorms right below Arthur’s seat. I wish we had done something like this before I left. Where are you moving to?

Congratulations to you. I was Edinburgh as well and am very pleased to see that the tradition of late nights/booze and Arthur’s Seat combo is very much still alive.
