I hope you all had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year! We spent the last few days of 2014 exploring the Lake District before heading to a David Bowie themed party (I made a poor attempt at some Ziggy Stardust inspired make-up).
2014 was by no means extraordinary for me personally, but with all the terrible news stories constantly jostling for space in the headlines these days it’s hard not to be grateful for a year that was troubled by little more than a couple of bouts of illness.
And a few good things have happened this year: I moved out of my parent’s house, I finally learned that exercise can be enjoyable and I started Everly, the online shop that I’ve daydreamed about for so long.
As far as 2015 goes, I’m looking forward to spending more time on Everly but I don’t really have any concrete resolutions. Read more, exercise more, blog more, the usual suspects. How about you?
Happy New Year! I have pretty much the same resolutions, especially to read more. I hope your 2015 has begun well so far! These photos are stunning!
