Today’s activities: wandering up and down the Royal Mile; a visit to Gladstone’s Land (a 17th century house maintained by the National Trust); eating soft whip ice cream (and scolding Ian for being messy before proceeding to spill it down the front of my silk blouse); and finally, a visit to the Museum of Childhood.

As you can probably tell from my outfit, the sun graced us with its presence again today. I’d say it feels like the summer is almost upon us, but knowing Britain this is probably the closest to a summer we’re going to get!
