Today I went to visit Angela, who I met at the vintage fair a couple of weeks ago. Angela has been selling vintage since 1985 and I’m currently helping her to set up a website/blog for her business, which is called Heaven. When it’s all done and ready I’ll post the link here because I think you’d all enjoy reading the stories she has to tell. Angela used to live in America and has supplied clothing for the film industry, for bands on tour and even once sold a pair of curtains that were later reincarnated as an iconic Prada coat.
Her apartment is amazing. She’s preparing for a big vintage show in London at the moment and there are clothes everywhere. Basically, it was my dream come true! Next time I go I’ll see if I can photograph a few of her dresses and such because she has some seriously lust-worthy stuff.

The dolls are so strange and creepy, though the photo with the lady puppet by the window is startling. As a kid, I was always afraid they would come alive at night.

Oooooh wow, she definitely chose the best name ever for her store because this truly is a vintage heaven! What a house full of treasures! I went my friend’s parents’ house yesterday for the first time and I had no clue that they used to have an antique store. So their whole house is filled with beautiful, old furniture, old suitcases and cabinets – I love those kinds of places!

Heaven clothes are a real treat; truly spectacular. This lady really understands the heteroglossia of merging old with new and getting it so, so right. Consistently quality stock and the shoes are simplt to die for.

I love all of the vintage items in Angela’s apartment. I too am a vintage buff and adore all things 30’s,40’s abd 50’s. I guess that’s because I am considered vintage myself. At least that is what my kids tell me. lol.
