Recently Thrifted #4

It’s been a while since I’ve done a thrifted post and as you can see I’ve managed to accumulate more than a few things since then. Funnily enough, this probably isn’t even half of what I’ve found, but with the fading light and my habit of squirrelling things away so that they become impossible to find, this was all I had time to photograph today.

New additions include: a couple of pieces of jewellery, a hat pin, two feline inspired pieces, a whole lot of silk scarves and, my personal favourite, the most beautiful 1930’s French fabric-covered box from the much revered Parisian department store, Le Bon Marché. All for under £20.

  1. Waaaah, I love that bracelet!
It’s been a while since I thrifted any jewelry. I used to find pretty things everywhere. But I think my eyes have been more focused on larger things, like clothing an such. It’s like the thrift brain can’t focus on everything all at ones. :-) Found an amazing nurse cloak a few weeks ago though, love it so much!

  2. Oh my goodness, what amazing finds Hannah! You really do have the knack – and the eye for it – such beautiful things. I especially love the cat print and the shell on a stand – stunning!

  3. You have the best thrifting luck! I’ve been meaning to drop you a comment for ages but life keeps getting in the way – a million congratulations on the new job!! I finally met Dulcie a couple of weekends ago and we both said that it would be nice to go treasure hunting together one day soon – once life has settled for you, would you like to join us? x

  4. You have found some gorgeous bits. I love the little floral box. You have reminded me to take more snaps of my thrifted finds otherwise they do tend to disappear into the environment. Lovely blog!

  5. I do love your thrifted posts – those scarves are sublime! I was having a wobble about charity shops lately, they all seemed to be full of old Primark clothes – then last week I found a vintage Jaeger blouse for the princely sum of £4.50. Faith restored!

  6. So wonderful! I have to say how incredibly jealous I am of your beautiful Shell! Oh my. I have been searching for one of those but have a feeling I will end up paying a pretty penny for one in the end. xxx

  7. Ah, your blog is so wunderbar – enviously so! Such lovely bargains too, and photographed perfectly! May I ask where these bargains were thrifted from? I’ve been trying to find out car boots by my university because the charity shops are even proving more pricey here! X
