Would it be very British of me to start this post by rabbiting on about the weather? Perhaps, so I’ll keep it short and just say that the weather was glorious today. Look, no sleeves!

A couple of things that have been going on with me since I last updated this old thing:

1. I discovered that I quite like exercising. This is pretty amazing for me considering that only a couple of years ago I’d never even stepped foot in a gym. Now I’ve got a regular schedule going and I’m also eating much more healthily. 2014 is all about nourishing and moving!

2. I’m (slowly) learning to write code. I discovered Codecademy a few weeks ago and it’s brilliant. I’ve only done the jQuery module so far, but I’m going to take a look at PHP next as that’s the code WordPress is built with. I’m so pleased that there are resources like this that make learning code available to everyone. And it’s especially important that we ladies make use of it because programming is currently very much a male-dominated industry!

Those of you that click through to my blog will see that I’ve updated it, again. I’m never satisfied. I’m still working on it at the moment so if it does something strange then please look the other way!

I picked up some wonderful things at an antique fair this morning, I’ll share them here soon. It’s so much easier to take pictures now that it’s getting lighter.

Top and jeans are Topshop, everything else is vintage/thrifted.

  9. Beautiful springy pics – so lovely to see you looking happy! Have fun with the blog tweaking. I need to have a bit of a faff with mine – trying to decide whether I can be bothered enough to move platforms as I’ve pushed the free blogger template to its limits…I really like the look of Square Space, but not sure I want to fork out…. Look forward to seeing how yours evolves!
