Those of you that follow me on instagram will have already seen this fancy thing in a fancy glass cabinet in a fancy shop in a fancy little old town called Stow-on-the-Wold. So how did it get from there to my bedroom?
Well, for one thing I’m very lucky. This was an early graduation present from my Mum and Step-Dad, which is kind of apt because I’ve just completed my degree in zoology. It’s a nautilus shell and as an antique it dates back to around 1880 (or so I am told).
I got my results through a few days ago and I’m ecstatic to be able to say that I’ll be graduating with a first! The only question remaining is, what the heck to do next?
Well done, that’s fantastic!!
What kind of things do you do in zoology, I was considering a degree in Biological Studies but am not sure now :/ Also, what are you going to do now you’ve graduated? :)
Hope you have a lovely day!

What an awesome graduation present. Something that you will definitely keep for ever and will have lots of sentimental value as you get older. And congratulations on your results. You must be super-chuffed. And don’t worry I still don’t know what I want to do (or at least how to narrow it down).

What a gorgeous and thoroughly appropriate graduation gift. I understand what you mean about the drifting feeling – it’s that strange post-graduation state. I (selfishly) hope you’ll have time for more blogging though, love to read your posts!
